The Parrot

For Anessa’s Birthday I took her to The Parrot, a cool little candy shop/cafe in dowtown Helena.  It ended up being one of my favorite outings with her.  It was so fun to just sit and talk and have some one on one time.  I let her choose whatever she wanted and she chose a big handful of Gummy Worms.

I wish I had gotten this pic in focus, but I didn’t.  The sign said “PLEASE DO NOT LEAN ON THE GLASS.”  I love this smothering of the glass.

Photography

A couple weeks ago some friends and I got together for a couple photography classes to go over some of the basics.  We ended it with a fun shoot dowtown where we practiced different things.  Here’s a couple from that day.  We also got invited by the owner’s of The Placer to go up onto the roof and take some pics.  Very cool.

1, 2, 3, 4, FIVE

Five years with you baby.  I love you.

Hard to be Sooo loved

More soon.

Downtown with Chris Rebo

Last week I had the chance to shoot an engagement session with a fellow photographer from Missoula Chris Rebo.  It’s always great to meet other photographers and spend time with them.  The shoot took place in Dowtown Helena and the weather was perfect.  Here’s a couple random images from the evening.

Outfit Ideas for Kids

I just came across some of the latest stuff from JCREW for kids and thought I would share.  I can hardly wait to bust out the  summer clothes and I love getting ideas from these guys.

Pup Smooch

I love the pup’s reaction vs. Paxton’s.  Just another day of people licking for the dog.

Resolutions for 2009

I’ve been working really hard this year to be healthy, exercise, eat better.  A group a friends and I are going to run some races soon and I think I’m in the best shape of my adult life.  It feels good.

But, sometimes I get overwhelmed and think I’ll never get where I want to be.  Do you ever feel like this?  The ups and the downs?

happy wednesday.

I was really dreading yesterday.  Ms. Anessa was due for her kindergarten shots.  She proved to be a fighter and I think there ended up being 5 of us trying to hold her still.  Blah!  On the way out of the office she yelled at the top of her lungs “I don’t like this doctor stuff!”….followed by…”My whole body is crying!”

Things got better after she was able to pick out a new doll and have lunch while out.  We’re all glad it’s over.

I had to post a pic of Anna’s twin Becca (named after our good friend “Rebecca”).  There were so many sweet shots with her and her dad, but loved this one.

Happy Wednesday!

Yo D Let’s Kick it

One of my highlights of Seattle was kicking it with my friend “D”.  We were inseperable in high school and she’s just like family to me.  I’d like to think this baby was named after me “Anna” “Janna” and these pics make me so happy.  “D” the rest are almost done.  Love you.
