Complimentary Kid Sessions

I have spent the last year photographing anything from kids to weddings to families.  At the beginning of the year I set some goals for myself and reflected on things that I wanted to accomplish for the coming year.  One of the things I want to focus on more is taking pictures of the things I want to.  My all-time favorite type of photography is lifestyle photography, people in their daily lives, their element, and people just pretty much being themselves.  I especially love this type of photography with kids.  They Know how to just let loose and have fun.  So, in celebration of kids, I have decided to offer complimentary kid sessions from January until June 2009.  This will include a 1-2 hour session on location or in your home, 20 images to choose from, and an online slideshow (valued at $175).  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. (Spaces will be limited and some restrictions may apply. Does not include prints or digitval negatives.)

Today’s To Do List

#1. Jump on bed.

I have officially decided

Even though he wakes me up in the middle of the night and doesn’t want to take naps anymore and spits his juice out all over my floor…I’ve officially decided that I do not want him to age beyond 2. I won’t be able to live without his chubby cheeks, and his striped socks and his cars and trains and the way he says “kanks mom” whenever I do anything for him. Kanks Pax for being so dang sweet.

4 hours outside of forks, wa

For Christmas I was just 4 hours outside of Forks, WA (anyone ever heard of it?) where I was able to spend time with the fam. We ran out to take pics on probably the coldest and wettest day, but the scenery was AMAZING.

Winter in Helena - Family Preview

I got the chance to be with this awesome family up in the mountains for a family session.  It was chilly, but they were willing to brave it, and I’m so glad we did because the backdrop was beautiful up there.  Here’s a couple pics from their shoot.  Thanks for the fun afternoon!
