Happy Thanksgiving. Eat & Play Lots!

I hope you have a wonderful day.  I’m going to spend it with family from Seattle and Idaho.  It’s been a long time.  I’ll miss seeing good friends that have taken care of us all those years we didn’t have fam around.

I’m looking forward to good company and good food, and I might try and make one of these….

Website

After we moved I wanted to take my time and get organized.  A couple months later I’m still not organized… but I have finally FINALLY updated my photography site.

I’d like to dedicate this site to my sister Sarah for her brutal honesty and her amazing looks.

I’d like to thank April for the music I stole off her blog.  (Coldplay’s new song Strawberry Fields.  It’s just PERFECT.  It’s so dang sweet. I bet Chris wrote it for his kids…and for my website.)

I’d like to thank my kids and husband for their endless support.

I’d like to thank all of you for checking out my site and giving feedback…….. Check it http://jannabeecher.com.   ;)

Sweet-Ness

Last night Kevin woke me up at about 1:00 wanting to know if “the director”  had “one on one” calls with clients in Butte….you know, “the director”….  I love it when he talks in his sleep.  He’s always so serious and trying to get his point across, until I bust up laughing and he tries to figure out what’s going on.  That Butte trip must have really had an impact on him.  :)

So I forgot to mention that we saw an older homeless man as we entered Butte and he was holding up a sign that said “I need a (good) wife.”  It was so funny that it made us smile and laugh, and so he smiled and laughed too.  It was good to connect with him on a humorous level and see a little bit of his personality come out.  Made me feel for him even that much more.  Good reminder for me to be grateful for my (good) life and all that I have.

The other day I had a mini-shoot with my sweet Nessa.  We hadn’t had an official one just for her in quite a while.  I wanted it to be in our home.  It’s pretty amazing the pictures you can take in your home.  Kids can really be in their element there and I just loved these ones.

Tomorrow I have knee surgery.  A repair to the lateral maniscus (sp?).  I tore it playing tennis..I don’t even really like playing tennis!  It should be a really quick recovery though.  And then I’m getting serious about running.  Want to join me…

6 times

Yesterday we headed out to Butte, MT for our first time.  I felt like I was in a mini Europe with the buildings, architecture, colors.  I was going crazy with all the potential photo-op places, but of course I didn’t bring my camera.  The mister had a meeting so I took the kids and we wandered around mainstreet.  We hit the antique stores.  I have never NEVER seen such old stuff in my life.  It was pretty amazing.  I was in heaven checking it all out, but left with a bit of a sinus infection from all the dust.  All worth it.

When we got home it kind of was unusual that Pax was so calm and just curled up with Anessa.  Usually they are really good with each other, but I figured he was just extra attached to his sister yesterday evening.  We put the kids down for bed and later at around 11:00 we headed up for bed to find Paxton starting to cough and cry…and so the night began.

Paxton ended up throwing up 6 times over the course of the night.  Miserable.  Get him out of his jammies, change the sheets, bathe him, hold him.  Felt so bad for him.  I have to say thanks to the hubby for letting me be the one to hold Paxton while he went and washed all the chunks out of the sheets. :(  You are so good.  Lets pray tonight is better.

and let us not forget little boys

I bundled Paxton up so much a couple weeks ago because it was so cold, but he ended up just being really, really miserable.  He could barely walk and kept falling down in the snow.  Now he cries when he sees the coat.  Sorry Pax.

It’s hard to go from summer attire to winter clothes.

little girls…thank heaven for them

Some of the latest picks of Miss A. that I thought I’d share.  Can you believe it’s November already?

Halloween part 2

Trunk or Treat Helena style.  Sarah Palin was there.

me and my loves

let’s get a close up of that face.  oh yeah, so done!

So how was your Halloween? Beecher’s Part 1

Okay, so I didn’t make the outifits like I said I would.  Next year.  Nessa (Butterfly) & Paxton (kangaroo).  Me & Kev (supposed to be pumpkin heads but the pumpkins molded. so we were nothing!).  Pax was pretty upset having to dress up, so the sucker saved us.  He ate it the whole hour we trick or treated.  Nessa accessorized her costume all by herself.  So pleased.

Hung out at the train downtown.  Check out that tail.

kisses from the dog.
